Taleswipe is a reader-driven romantasy platform. These terms and policies apply to your use of the web app at www.taleswipe.com. Questions can be sent to hello@taleswipe.com.
Depending on how you use Taleswipe, we may collect:
- Account details from Google sign-in, including name, email address, and profile image.
- Reader activity such as votes, feed interactions, feedback submissions, and account history.
- Payment and refund records related to Chapter 1 commissions.
- Operational metadata needed to secure sessions, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Authenticate readers and keep accounts secure.
- Operate voting, leaderboard, and story coordination features.
- Process Chapter 1 commission purchases and any contract-required refunds.
- Respond to support and feedback requests.
- Monitor platform health, reliability, and abuse.
Payments and third parties
Payments are processed by Stripe. Taleswipe does not store full payment card numbers.
Authentication is handled through Google sign-in. Backend data and auth/session operations are hosted on Convex. If you choose to contact Taleswipe through Discord, Discord's own policies apply to that interaction.
Retention and sharing
Taleswipe keeps account, payment, and operational records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the product, support readers, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
Taleswipe does not sell personal information. Data may be shared with service providers strictly to run the product, such as authentication, hosting, and payment processing providers.
